About Ants Removals
Ants Removals is a removals company based in Borehamwood, North London. Founded in 1985 by Max Oldfield, it carries out domestic house moves, packing, storage and international removals. The business also offers priority response services for emergencies such as floods, fire damage and storm damage at homes and commercial premises, working with insurance companies to remove and store damaged items.
The company covers London and operates nationally and internationally, with over 150 partner locations worldwide. Ants Removals has various vehicles suited to different removal jobs. It provides self-storage units measuring approximately 230 cubic feet inside, supplied as wooden containers or 10ft and 20ft containers for clients between properties. Mobile storage units can be delivered to a doorstep for loading. Items are kept in specially constructed wooden boxes that can be sealed until collection.
The removals process involves booking, packing goods, safe loading and delivery. Packing materials and packing services are available. For priority response work, the team liaises with insurance representatives and on-site recovery teams to understand specific needs. Items are transported to a secure storage facility. The business works extended hours for emergency removals when needed. Ants Removals has 25,000 square feet of storage space in Borehamwood.
