About Bishop's Move Ely
Bishop's Move Ely is part of Bishop’s Move, a UK removals and storage company that traces its history to 1854. It was established by Joseph James Bishop as Bishop & Sons’ Depositories, and the sixth generation of the Bishop family continues to work in the business. The site states more than 170 years of moving experience.
The business has over 20 UK locations, and in Europe, and it was a founder of the British Association of Removers. The services listed are home removals, professional packing and wrapping, secure storage, business relocation and international shipping. Secure storage is offered, including self storage.
Packing is carried out by trained teams. Options are full packing, china and glass packing, unpacking on arrival at the new property, and bespoke crates for antiques and artwork. Boxes and packaging materials are made from sustainable resources. Professional grade packing boxes can also be supplied to customers who pack for themselves or who use them for secure storage.
The site also has pages on the history of the firm, charitable work and historic vehicles for hire. Customers are offered local moves with the resources of a national company, and the firm also arranges business moves for offices.
