About DS Movements
DS Movements is a removals company based in Ely, owned by Doug Stuart. Doug started it to run a cost effective man in a van style business that serves his local community. It offers removals and transportation to domestic and commercial customers across Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas.
The business mainly uses large vans, and customers can choose one to three helpers with optional loading and unloading. Staff handle fragile valuables such as large furniture, pianos, paintings and personal belongings. The site states over 20 years of combined experience and a fleet of specialist vehicles for relocations of different sizes.
Office removals are a listed service. The site covers Cambridge and city moves, the Fens and surrounding villages, and Huntingdon, Peterborough and business parks. Planning allows for access roads and parking in Cambridge, and the team uses vehicles and equipment suited to rural routes. Bulky desks, IT setups and specialist equipment are handled in modern offices.
DS Movements sponsors the Stretham FC Saturday League football team and works alongside local companies in Ely such as McIntyre Stuart. A free quote is requested through the contact form, and a flexible timeline can be built when the moving date is still to be decided.
