About Happy To Help Van
Happy To Help Van is an Edinburgh removals business that began in 2014. Adam Starus started it as a sole trader after arriving in Edinburgh and buying a van, and requests to help friends move grew into a local business. It is now an established team with permanent members, working Monday to Saturday.
The services listed are domestic removals, man with a van and commercial transport. Domestic removals cover flat and house moves, including awkward access and room by room placement. The man with a van service helps with single items, storage runs, student moves and smaller loads. Commercial transport covers office moves and business deliveries. Packing help, furniture dismantling, storage arrangements and single item support can be added.
The business has its own equipped Luton vans with a 4.2m load space and hydraulic tail lifts. Protective blankets and secure loading are used. Insurance listed is commercial insurance on all vehicles, goods in transit cover up to £10,000 per vehicle, and public liability insurance up to £1,000,000. The business states that it has been a member of the Edinburgh scheme vetted by Edinburgh Trading Standards since 2019.
Quotes are online. Customers list the load, mark the access, such as stairs, lift, parking and distance from the vehicle to the front door, and receive a quote.
