About Lacey's I O W Ltd

Lacey's I O W Ltd is a family-run removals business based in Ryde, established in 1924 and now in its third generation under Craig Lacey. The business carries out household removals to, from and within the Isle of Wight, and also moves furniture and boxes across the UK and internationally. Services include full packing, storage in a purpose-built warehouse, and shipping to destinations including Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Canada, the USA and South Africa. The business specialises in household removals, fine art and antiques.

Lacey's operates a fleet of modern vehicles and employs full-time staff members whose combined removals experience exceeds 100 years. Jobs begin with a free quotation, and the business offers containerised storage within its own brick warehouse on the Isle of Wight. The warehouse is fitted with fire and intruder alarms linked to a monitoring station and 24-hour CCTV. For international moves, the business works with a FAIM, FIDI and OMNI Bonded company and offers shipment by 20ft or 40ft containers or groupage for smaller loads. Packing for export is carried out by trained staff, and door-to-door service includes full customs clearance and delivery by local movers at the destination.

Lacey's was established in 1924 and is licensed and insured. The business receives many repeat customers and recommendations from households moved nationwide and across the Isle of Wight.
