About Langham Browne
Langham Browne is a family-run removals business based in Lymington, established since 1865 and family run since 1970. The business moves households and provides packing services, including full or partial packing, breakable item packing with purpose-made cartons and white paper, and wardrobe cartons for hanging clothes. Dismantling and reassembly of furniture, carpet protection for stairs and hallways, and specialist handling of pianos, long-case clocks, antiques and works of art are offered. A man and van service is available on an hourly rate starting from £55 per hour, with boxes and packing materials supplied.
Each item of furniture is individually wrapped in blankets. Glassware, china and delicate ornaments are wrapped in clean white paper before being placed in purpose-made removal cartons. Clothing, bedding and soft furnishings are packed into medium-sized cartons, while books, records, compact discs and heavy tools go into smaller cartons. Free loan of packing boxes and materials is available for customers who pack items themselves.
Langham Browne covers local moves and long-distance removals. A visit to assess removal needs is followed by a detailed quotation and move plan.
