About Palmers of Windsor & Maidenhead

Palmers of Windsor & Maidenhead is a family owned home removals and storage business serving Windsor, Maidenhead, Ascot and the rest of Berkshire. It was founded in 1920 as a small local family business and has operated for over 100 years. In 2016 Palmers was acquired by Wilkins (Henley) Ltd and is now part of the Wilkins Group, which has operated for over 140 years.

The services are house removals, residential removals with storage, and domestic storage. The acquisition came with a 4-acre purpose-built storage facility in Reading, and the storage warehouse is in Reading, Berkshire. The business also offers high value home removals and individually priced quotations.

The fleet has over 30 vehicles, from small vans to articulated lorries, and the site says the team can handle even complex relocations. Palmers is a member of the British Association of Removers. Separate pages cover Windsor removals with storage and Maidenhead removals with temporary storage. Customers can call for a quote.

Based in Berkshire with a warehouse facility, the business specialises in house moving and domestic storage. The site names Henley and the surrounding area as part of the Wilkins Group territory, with a mover there since 1880. Quotations are individually prepared for each home, and the fleet is diverse.
