Removals Southampton

About Removals Southampton

Removals Southampton is a family-run man and van and removal company based in Southampton. It moves single items, student rooms, small flats and a few boxes across the city by the hour, and it also carries out full house removals, office relocations, piano moves, student moves, dismantling and reassembly, packing services and long distance moves out of the area. The business has traded for more than 15 years and covers Southampton and all Hampshire postcodes, including Portswood, Shirley, Bitterne, Eastleigh, Hedge End and Totton.

For man and van jobs, a driver and a helper arrive with a clean van and load, carry and transport items with care, then unload and place them where the customer wants them. Beds, wardrobes and flat-pack units are taken apart before the move and rebuilt at the other end, with all fixings kept safe. Packing materials are supplied and items are wrapped with protection so everything arrives intact. Office relocations are planned around working hours to keep disruption to a minimum, and pianos are moved with proper equipment and technique to protect the instrument and floors, doorways and stairs.

Removals Southampton provides a firm quote upfront with hourly, half-day and full-day rates. Every move is covered by goods-in-transit and public liability insurance. The business books evening and weekend slots, and accepts last-minute and same-day moves when availability allows. Local knowledge of parking, one-way systems and stairwells across the city is used to plan each job.
