Shorts Removals & Storage

About Shorts Removals & Storage

Shorts Removals & Storage is a family-owned removal business based in Braintree. It carries out house removals, flat removals, office removals and student moves across Essex and nationally. The business uses an extra large Dropwell Luton van equipped with padded sofa covers, padded mattress covers, TV covers, carpet covers, removal trolleys, blankets, straps and tools. Each item is individually covered with removal blankets during transport.

The business covers Braintree, Halstead, Witham, Great Dunmow, Chelmsford and throughout Essex, and also undertakes moves to other parts of the country. Charges are by the job rather than by the hour. Packing services are available before the move or on the day itself, with double-walled boxes, bubble wrap, paper and wardrobe boxes supplied. Furniture can be dismantled and reassembled at either end. Boxes and packing items are sold separately, from single boxes to five-bedroom packs, and eBay item collections are also offered.

Shorts Removals & Storage holds goods in transit insurance of £30,000, public liability and employers liability insurance. The business is a member of a trade organisation and staff have had disclosure checks. A newly custom-built storage facility is available for customers needing storage. Free quotations and advice are offered on site.
