Listing on manandvan.trade: free, or £12 a month Premium
A listing on manandvan.trade is free and so is claiming it. Premium, which adds enquiries by email, costs £12 a month plus VAT (£14.40 including VAT). You can cancel renewal at any time and your subscription will not renew any further. Premium listings appear towards the top of their town's lists, and the site has no reviews or ratings.
How does a man and van firm get listed?
Listings are free. We find man and van firms from public sources, such as business listings and the firms' own websites, and publish each one under the town it is based in. Brokers, comparison sites and lead networks that pass jobs to other firms are not listed as man and van firms.
Customers contact the firm directly by phone or email. We do not take bookings or payments for jobs.

Which town is my firm listed under?
The town you work from. We list a firm under a town when we can see it is based there, for example from a yard, depot, office or published address. Most man and van firms cover a wide area, so firms from nearby towns can also appear under 'Also serving', kept separate from the firms based in the town.
Many firms run from home, so we only show a street address for a yard, depot, office or store, or where the firm publishes it itself. A franchise with its own depots is listed once in each town where it has one.
What does claiming a listing give me?
Claiming is free. It gives you a login and a dashboard where you manage your listing and see how often it is viewed and called.
Enquiries by email come with Premium. Each one carries the customer's job details, and your reply goes straight to the customer.
What does Premium add for £12 a month?
Premium costs £12 a month plus VAT, which is £14.40 a month including VAT at 20%. You can cancel renewal at any time and your subscription will not renew any further. It adds:
Enquiries by email. A form on your listing that sends customers' job details to you.
Prices. Your hourly rates and fixed prices shown on your profile.
Availability. Flags that show when you have free days.
Photos. Up to 24 of your own photos.
A note to customers. A short note above your enquiry form, for example how quickly you usually reply.
What do the badges mean, and does paying change my position?
Owner verified (paid check) means that, within the last year, the business confirmed it runs the listing.
Insurance seen (paid check) means the certificate the firm emailed was seen at that check, and the cover and expiry date recorded. It lapses when the certificate expires.
Neither badge is part of Premium now, and paying does not add them: a badge already on a listing stays until it runs out. The word 'paid' always appears with each badge. Neither badge is a recommendation, and neither changes the order of listings. Premium does: Premium listings appear towards the top of their town's lists, taking turns at the top when several have Premium, and no particular place is promised. Below them, the ones we checked most recently come first.
How do I correct or remove a listing?
Use Modify listing to correct details or ask for removal. It is free for every firm, claimed or not.
Removal requests are honoured. If you close, stop doing man and van work or move to another town, tell us and we update or take down the listing.

Is it free to be listed on manandvan.trade?
Yes. Being listed, claiming your listing and using Modify listing are all free. Enquiries by email come with Premium, which is optional.
How much is Premium including VAT?
£14.40 a month: £12 plus VAT at 20%.
Does Premium move my firm up the page?
No. Payment never changes the order. We do not publish reviews, ratings or rankings.
Why is my firm not listed under my town?
Usually because we could not confirm the firm is based there, or we have not found it yet. Use Modify listing to send your details and we will check.
