About 1 Van 1 Man Removals
1 Van 1 Man Removals is a removal business based in York, founded in 2008 by Dale Gosine. The company operates a fleet of three vans, including a Luton and long-wheelbase van, with a team that includes Mike and Tomasz alongside Dale. The business carries out house moves, flat moves, student relocations, office removals, property clearances, furniture transport and single-item deliveries across York, Yorkshire and the rest of the UK.
Services listed include secure storage relocations, commercial removals outside trading hours, self-loading removals where customers load and the driver takes the van, piano removals, discreet moving, motorcycle transport, music and gig equipment transport, store collection, eBay courier services, porter hire, furniture assembly and nursing home removals. Long-distance removals travel from Aberdeen to Zennor with belongings staying in one dedicated van from first box to last delivery.
The business covers York, including Acomb, Heworth, Fulford, Tang Hall, Clifton and Huntington, plus nationwide reach. Work begins with a free quote via an online form or phone call. Furniture is wrapped in protective padding, beds and wardrobes are dismantled and reassembled at the new address, and items are loaded into carpeted vans. The same movers handle each move from pickup to drop-off. 1 Van 1 Man Removals has traded since 2008 and holds public liability and goods in transit insurance up to £10,000 on every move. Pricing starts from £75 per hour with fixed written quotes available, and the business has 489+ five-star Google reviews.
