About North Somerset Man and Van
North Somerset Man and Van is a local, owner-run man and van business based in Weston-super-Mare. It covers the whole of North Somerset and beyond, and the pages state that it has been doing this work for over twenty years.
The main vehicle is a long-wheelbase high-top van, and a smaller van is also run for tight access and quick local pickups. Both vans carry sack trucks, furniture trolleys, skates, straps and blankets. Customers who ring the mobile number on the pages speak to the owner, and quotes come from the owner directly.
The porters are CRB checked, uniformed and experienced, and the business states that the people who arrive are the people spoken to on the phone. The pages say most of the work comes from recommendations and repeat customers.
The business lists full goods in transit insurance, public liability insurance and registration as an Environment Agency waste carrier, with certificates available on request. It describes its approach as turning up when agreed, quoting a fair price, treating belongings with care using blankets, straps and trolleys, and speaking to customers like a person. Quotes can be requested online, and the line is open for calls and texts 24 hours a day.
